Production and Quality Assurance

 

During the process of manufacturing Bentomat, samples are taken at regular intervals.  In our Research & Development center, products undergo comprehensive quality assurance testing including:

• Permeability/index flux
• Slope stability determination by direct shear box method
• Montmorillonite content by x-ray diffraction
• Cation exchange capacity by methylene blue or wet chemistry
• Mass per unit area
• Tensile strength
• Peel strength
• Elongation
• CBR puncture resistance
• Filtrate loss
• Free swell
• Plate water absorption
• Chemical compatibility

Once all the required tests have been carried out and have met the appropriate criteria, the product is approved for dispatch.
